There's a bit of discussion on here about them: https://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/gear/anyone_use_fixe_ropes_-_would_you_reccomend-762085 ; and yes - that is a typo, not some weird Brit way of spelling 'recommend'! For the avoidance of confusion: one contributor has mixed up Roca with an earlier brand, Rocca. The latter was around in the 1970s and is obviously an Italian word rather than Spanish - although Bill Forrest, their US importer/distributor at the time, referred to them as being made in West Germany [as it was then]. I was never quite sure whether Rocca was an actual manufacturing company; there was some thought, as I recall, that it was a budget brand owned and manufactured by one of the other main players - that being a time when manufacturers generally offered a very simple range consisting typically of one or maybe two models of the basic rope types, with perhaps an added 'everdry' option, rather than the much wider choice that one has nowadays. In view of Forrest's assertion, and their general visual similarity to that brand, my money - somewhat cautiously - was on Edelrid!
I have used the Roca Siurana Endurance 9.6 for ~2yrs and like it. Is my workhorse. Handles well, has been durable. I got it on sale for $130 shipped for 70m w/rope bag included, was a steal IMO.
