Has anyone tried SoIll's new shoes?

Two of their models just released at REI and appear to have sold out in most sizes. I thought someone here might have picked one up. And before anyone gets too negative - the new shoes are designed by Jae Jung and Fred Nicole and look pretty interesting overall. There are a few aesthetic bits that I think look just a bit off, but otherwise I've been really looking forward to these.

Also a recent WeighMyRack video on these: youtu.be/TVGW2x_vxo4

And now that I think about it, I think Madrock's Drone 2.0 drops this week as well.

I have used the new Stay in the gym. I'm a 8.5 mens on the Brannock device, and ordered an 8.0. They stretched maybe a quarter of a size, and work great on everything except edges. Ideally, I think a 7.5 may have been a more appropriate size for me, and wonder if this would fix the subpar edging. For reference, old 5.10 shoes seemed to fit me the best. The material and construction of the stay seem very good.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
