Via Ferrata

Is there any Via Ferrata in Colorado that I can go play on without a guide? Everything I’ve seen is closed to public.

Telluride and Ouray are both free to access without a guide. Ouray might just have certain access hours, and you might need a waiver? Telluride is forest land, so you can just hike up and go.

Edit: I also think with Ouray there's someone at the entrance checking that you have legitimate lanyards. There's a number of rental spots in town, though. When I've done Telluride I just used static slings and planned on not falling.
