All systems go for Iowa's inaugural climbers fest - Cornstock - May 13-14 at Indian Bluffs on the banks of the Maquoketa. A weekend of climbing, community, and corn-foolery; breaking down walls and joining the greater Iowa/midwestern climbing community. All are welcome, climbers and non-climbers alike! Saturday night festivities. Spread the good word.

Saturday: Wake up, drink some coffee, mosey on over to Indian Bluffs and hike out to that 3 star classic you've been eyeing or get to pebble wrestling. Most will climb throughout the day Saturday, but feel free to hike/hangout, do whatever feels good.

Saturday night: Potluck! Corn WILL be provided. Bonfire, music, haiku performances, and games to follow. Crowning of next years corn maize-ters. Expect the unexpected.

Sunday: Wake up, drink coffee, clean up, and go climb more! Or feel free to head home and start getting stoked for the next Cornstock.

Hey everyone,

It is with a heavy heart I’m here to inform you that Cornstock is CANCELLED/POSTPONED.

We’ve been watching the weather hoping for a miraculous change, but unfortunately it’s gotten worse if any thing with 0.5-1 inch of rain predicted Saturday into Sunday at Indian Bluffs. This paired with the much needed rain we’ve already gotten is likely to put a literal and figurative damper on any planned climbing, festive spirit, and camping enjoyment. We’d love to proceed regardless, but if we’re going to do this Iowa Climber’s Fest, we want to do it right with the intent for people to make it a continuing tradition. If you’re still psyched we’d strongly encourage you to get out there regardless! Stay tuned for the next installment. We appreciate all y’all’s hype.

Until next time!
