I would imagine that McKinley Grove Rd is going to be closed for a long time-- the Forest Service has the opening date for typical years listed as May 1st (though that page has been not updated in some time). This is not a typical year!

Your best bet is to call the Prather Ranger Office:

Courtright at best will be opened 4th of July weekend??? at the Dam its 8300' and the snow starts blocking roads around 5500'

Forest Service says that the Courtright boat ramp is open.

Thanks for the help guys. I figured it was gonna be pretty snowy up there.

An alternative might be tollhouse for a day trip.
