Hell no. I ve never been above 6000 meters but even there I wouldn't use any of those.

Nope. Not enough.

You should generally be at the "Warmest glove this manufacturer makes" point for your 8000m expedition mitts. BD Super Light has a total of 280g of Primaloft. BD Absolute has a total of 540g of Primaloft including 300 in the outer shell. I would strongly, strongly recommend going for something like that instead. BD Absolute, OR Alti, North Face Himalayan, Rab Expedition 8000 are ones I hear recommended.

Do not skimp on the weight, do not care much about dexterity for this particular item in your kit - in theory you should be doing most of your climbing in fingered gloves, and this pair is only for when it is very cold or you manage to drop a glove. Get the top end expedition mitt.
