Bladerunner Phantom tech fit?

I recently got a pair of new bladerunners to try out, but I'm having a lot of trouble getting a solid fit on my boots. The crampons fit lengthwise just fine, but there seems to be a lot of lateral instability, even when I have the length tightened down as far as possible. The heel piece is able to rotate side to side almost 1/2".

All of my other crampons have two small tabs on the heel piece that stop it from rotating like this, but the Bladerunners don't. I've played around with the adjustments as much as I can, but can't seem to find a setting that would prevent this heel rotation. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Keep trying different length, adjusting the heel lever and switching between the heel lever attachment holes. Something will eventually start to feel secure.

I am disappointed with the latest crampon trend eliminating the screw adjustments on the heel lever. Ill fitting crampons seem like their going to be the norm going forward.

Did they really take the adjustment screw off the heel? That does seem like an awful idea. It's crucial for fit.

I ended up cutting some rubber out of the sole extrusions of my boots so the little arch rise of my blade runners fit well.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
