Howdy!

Just hopping on to see if anyone is familiar with or could recommend a good resource for backcountry skiing/splitboarding in the wasatch range. I’m based out of Salt Lake area and I’m hoping to get more familiar with the area. Obviously the best case scenario is to have a guide/more experienced partner. While my school/work/family schedule doesn’t allow for me to get out much currently, I’d love to thumb through a guidebook or app or something of the sort.. any suggested resources?

Thanks!

+1 to what's above

Remember, start small/safe and keep in mind that there's almost always going to be other parties out there, so even if you're taking a moderate route on a higher risk day, there might be another group with higher risk tolerance skiing above you on terrain that could slide.
