I'm looking to get a pair of Scarpa veloce. And I'm wondering if anybody knows how much stretch I can expect from them? My street shoe is a 10.5 us and I have some tarantulases that are a size 8.5 us. Those ended up stretching a lot more than I was anticipating and I think maybe I could have even gone with an eight on those. But I know the synthetic shoes don't stretch near as much as leather shoes do. At least that's what I've heard. https://100001.onl/

No firsthand experience here, but I like the Rock and Run sizing guide for most major models. And per friends, the Veloce stretches quite a bit.

They stretch so much that you can’t go wrong, I wear a 9.0 us street and an 8.5us velos

38.5 in futuras and solutions, woman's 9.5 in old hiangles, 38.5 or 39 in old scarpa mago, 38.5 in high volume veloce. I wear maybe a 8.5 to 9ish street shoe if you averaged them all out.

I personally don’t find that they really stretch they are just so soft that even a super downsized shoe feels more like a sock. I wear a 43.5 TX guide but go all the way down to a 40.5 for the veloces and they have been great. I had to go that far down to get the heel to feel good so if your feet are wider perhaps less downsizing could still be good. Regardless, I would expect the shoes to soften up a bit and rub on your toes less but the fit will not change too much from out of the box.

I would downsize and extra .5 to full size from other scarpa shoes in my experience. I am swimming in them in street size, 1 size down probably would have been perfect for the gym.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
