Looking for a midlayer to layer under a soft shell (OR Cirque), and over long johns. Would love to find:

Patagonia Nano Air Light pants
Arcteryx Axino Knickers
Backcountry Wolverine Cirque 3/4
Mountain Equipment Eclipse pants

or something similar... open to suggestions. Men's S or M. Cheers!

Hey Joe, I have a post up selling some extra Smartwool merino wool baselayers. I wear smartwool baselayers almost every day in the winter/spring and they have been a gamechanger for my layering system.

Lmk if youre interested in anything on the post.

Cheers

Not looking for base layers unfortunately, but thanks for the heads up!

Not sure if they’re what you’re looking for, but I have a pair of Patagonia R2 pants size S that I could part with. Super warm, with a burly face fabric that makes them great for wearing around after you make camp.

Hmm, I think these are likely too much for my needs. Are they the TechFace version?

Yes. I’ve only worn them as an outer layer, but they’re slim fit enough to work as a base layer as well. Maybe heavy for your needs though.

Yea a bit heavy, but also I'd rather have something that delegates all protective qualities (e.g. techface) to the shell, to keep this midlayer as breathable as possible. The R2s do look really cozy though! Thanks for the offer.

I managed to get a hold of a pair of the Backcountry Wolverine Cirque pants, newer version. They're really nice. Primaloft is the best.

I could only find a small though, would have been better off with a medium... in the one in a million chance that someone reading this wants to trade sizes, let me know :p
