Hey MP community. I looked for this thread and I could not find one.

Any artists out there creating with the inspiration of the outdoors, rocks, or climbing? I'd love for there to be a localized place to share what you're working on and what you've made! Any art really, photography, ceramics, painting, ect. I know so many of us are artists, however you choose to define that. Climbing brings us together, so can Art!

I'm not intending this thread to be somewhere to sell art, just a place to share. Feel free to let folks know if something is for sale, though.

-Cheers

I have been trying my hand at producing crag overlays for popular City of Rocks crags. I am making test prints of posters as well in hopes to eventually fill that niche!

You ought to do a glass or metal print that looks really good without the lines and have a glass overlay that has the routes or something so it could be easily swapped on and off

I’ve carved realistic rocks in cement. I’m about to get a new shop I’ll use half the space for messing around with art/gear making projects. If people are nice I might let them use it too.

A screen print of a cam I did a while ago. Fun just messing around with it.

I do terrible watercolors of things I climb.

This is supposed to be the east buttress of Mt Whitney:

I did some illustrations a while back that made it into the Climbing mag. Let me see if I can find them.

EDIT: Found a couple

Also working on “heavy metal style t-shirt” designs of each ice, trad, sport climbing. Here’s a preview of the ice one! I hope to make these into prints and actual shirts when the whole series is done. :)

Love all of this beautiful art! Here are a couple hats I've inked up with permanent Ink. Skully is dawning the Cathedral Traverse.

Dang loving this, yall are talented. My girlfriend likes to draw pieces for whatever area we are visiting. Here's a link to a couple quick sketches she did while we were in Yosemite this Fall

I have a bunch of paintings based on photos I take when out hiking or climbing.  These two are from a hike near Virginia Lake near Bridgeport, CA

My friend made me this:

It’s the Wasatch - about 4 feet long x 1 foot high

If you decide to produce any, please let me know!  My son is painting his room and would love to update his walls with cool climbing art.  CoR is our favorite climbing destination!
