Best post-climbing food at popular climbing areas?

Yosemite, Curry Village Pizza ...chicken pesto pizza and cold beer. Pro-tip: The beer selection around the corner at the store is pretty good and much cheaper than ordering at the bar. |

Hot take: Miguel's is only good because your drunk/high/tired after a day if climbing. Its not that great. Who puts rice on pizza??? |
|
Miguel’s used to be really great, unique pizza—when Miguel made it himself or directly supervised. And that wasn’t only because we were hungry ( though we were) and it was also basically the only option in the area. I can’t say what it is like currently as when we were in the Red last October, the lines there were always so long when we drove by that we never bothered to wait. |

Moab: Gilibertos. The gordita is top-notch. Also the beer cheese soup at the Zaks pizza buffet. I'm sure I'll get flayed alive for this opinion, but the Cafe Rio taco salad is way righteous after you've been eating monochrome for days on a long mission. |

Gunks Lola's in new paltz. They have a variety of healthy and well priced options. Quick service and inside or outside seating. Right on Mainstreet! |

After a hard day of sending in the Gunks…Main Course (Meatloaf sandwich or a tossed salad, don’t forget dessert, bread pudding or quinoa coconut pudding) or Twin Star Orchards for some artisan hard cider and even better brick oven pizza. The Dragon’s Breath pizza is the best IMO. Cilantro, red onions, honey siracha, mozzarella and chorizo over red sauce. The atmosphere is great there too. Can’t really go wrong with any of the restaurants in New Paltz though. If in the New River Gorge, definitely get after some Pies and Pints, best pizza around hands down. If it’s your rest day, head to Cathedral Cafe and Bookstore and try out the potato pancakes. Of course after climbing at Cathedral or one of the lovely cliffs off the Kancamagus you can't miss out on Flatbread Company in North Conway. So much nostalgia thinking about the climbing and food in the North East! |

Moab: Milt's & that quesadilla truck Devil's Lake: Ishnala (RIP the Barn) Needles of South Dakota: Custer Beacon & Baker's Cafe City of Rocks: Tracy General Store & Rock City Tetons: Dornan's (honorable mention: Nora's if you skied the Pass in the morning; Cowboy Cafe in Dubois if you skied Togwotee Pass) Lander: Lander Bar Ten Sleep: Dirty Sally's (more of a morning thing before climbing but whatever) Jtree: Pappy & Harriet's |

Unpopular opinion here. For Colorado Springs crags or return trips from the Splatte or Shelf, La Casita. In all it’s pink glory. |

Quite a lot of dachshunds involved in that story. And get this, the McDonald's ice cream machine was actually working. I know, right? |

For red rocks…. You’re in Vegas… go to a smokey bar, hit any taco spot, find a hole in the wall Mexican spot in the rougher parts of town, maybe leave skid row and summerlin to explore (spend money in) the city with your friends. There’s also that little restaurant in blue diamond if you’re into that sort of thing. You can also camp at Lovell Cyn for a change and go to pahrump for some small town vibes. There’s so much to explore in this area besides calico 1&2, pine creek Cyn, blue diamond cave, and skid row. Red rock has great food and a community YOU build. |
