For me its the lower clip in hole. The one large hole on the petzl is so much better than the two holes on the BD. Petzl older ascenders had it the same as BD and made a design change god knows how long ago at this point for the better with the one larger clip in point. The BD two hole design, there is one hole that is smaller and can only accept certain smaller diameter carabiners, which is definitely not a feature IMO. I just want to be able to clip to carabiners to the thing an not have to think about if it will fit.

I will say the ability to use you finger through the cam release of the index seems like it a good design implement.
