Why are women allowed to climb without a shirt in a gym but men cannot?
|
From North America When I’m at the gym, I have an urge to take off my shirt (memes if you want). The reason for that is because it’s hot, I’m sticky, and I can send harder (no joke) without it, so I benefit lots from it. All the gyms around have a shirts on policy that prevents men from going shirtless. I’m not taking it off to show off my 6 pack or thick chest, but it just feels natural and it helps myself cool off especially in a warm gym.
Why is it fine for women to take off their shirts while men are not allowed to????? This is not a troll post, but wondering what the reasoning is here? |

Sounds like you need a new gym. I can bare my chest to the world whenever I damn well please in my gym. But it’s America so maybe cause freedom? Idk |

When other men take off their shirts, it challenges my alpha-ness. When women take of their’s, it enhances. Pure and simple. |

It is a proven fact that all men send harder when shirtless. Even if they are pale, skinny, and really shouldn't go shirtless. |

they can take off SHIRT but can't go topless. just wear a bralette and you'll be fine. I'm dead serious. |
|
Nice male whining. And, yes, women are not going topless. |

Get stronger so the weight of your wifebeater doesnt hold you back |

Dude as long as your tits are looking me straight in the eye as I pull the lip on my V12 proj, then we gravy. Wear a sports bra you animal |

You can’t even go shirtless in my climbing gym’s hot yoga classes. I’m standing there bound up in a soaked and dripping shirt, but the women in skin-tight yoga short-shorts and a sports bra are more comfortable not seeing my chest, so I guess that’s how it’s going to be. Namaste. |

Didn't you hear? Men already had their day! The time has come for ladies to run around in their underwear. Let's all be grateful for progress. |

I'm like totally okay with dudes not being allowed to take their shirts off, and women who only wear sports bras at the gym. Please don't ruin this. |

Does your gym say anything about wearing pants? Maybe magnet midtoe will test this in one his videos, that guy so quirky |

Climber Reviewer, my old friend. Did you put a beanie on when you took the shirt off? I hear it’s easier to send if you ears arm warm. |
|
Maybe you should wear a sports bra at the gym. Problem solved! |

1) because gyms aren’t real climbing 2) because gyms exist primarily for the comfort of female climbers 3) because gyms know men climb better shirtless, and that’s not fair to women 4) because women can’t focus on that plastic thing with shirtless men everywhere 5) because gyms sell shirts 6) because men and women are the same, but men look “funny” in sports bras |
