Shoes with narrower heel than Solution Comp

Hello,

Currently my pair of climbing shoes I use are a pair of Solution Comp. The shoes fit fine, but sadly I can roll my heel from left to right while heel hooking. For the rest the shoes fit like a glove. Are there any good shoes that have a more narrow heel than the Solution Comp? Unfortunately I use a size 42 EU for my Solution Comp so it is almost impossible to find female shoes. Another point is that I can barely try on any shoes because the stores near where I live have limited stock, so the plan is to order online.

Could you guys help me find a good replacement for the Solution Comp?

Some shoes I am looking at are the LS Futura, Scarpa Drago LV and Scarpa Instinct VSR, would these be a good replacement? I am also open to other suggestions.

From what I have heard they use a testarosa heel, a futura may be too narrow for you in the forefoot, a miura vs should work well for you if you are willing to have a stiffer shoe and sacrifice toe hooking.

It's the shitty closure system, and flexibility of the heel section.  Get a different shoe for heel hooking.  I absolutely love the Solutions, they are my go to, but I always have a pair of Scarpas when it's heel hooking time.

Edited to add: I use the Scarpa Instinct VSR for rope climbing requiring heel hooking, and the Scarpa Drago's for bouldering.

Maybe Tenaya Oasi/ Inti/ Mastia?

The Mastia is supposed to have a wider forefoot than other Teneya shoes

I had the same problem, 41.5 and I could push my heel in all different directions. Ended up buying and returning 4 out of 5 pairs of 5.10’s. Very narrow heels.

scarpa drago lv - cannot say enough good things

i have a fairly shallow heel so i have to be picky about shoes 5.10 are too boulbous in the heel and sportiva tho better kindo of same issue

i also had a pair of butor acro narrow that fit well

i wear the solutions and have tried the solution comps, and the la sportiva theorys are the only shoe i've ever worn where there's no gapping in the heel. solutions are a close second.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
