Any of them will keep you warm. I’d be a little wary of the ghost whisperer pants as the material is so thin it likely won’t last for multiple seasons without extensive patching, and they always “seam” to tear when your multi tool and/or tenacious tape require an annoying amount of rummaging to get out.

During the years I was going to the AK range I wore a pair of synthetic puff pants less insulated than those, and used them as a replacement for a sleeping bag inside a firstlight during on route bivis.  They worked!

You need to bring puffy pants, the specific model is not critical in my opinion.

I would look at goosefeet gear, you can get custom made pants at an amazing price.

This spring will be my 5th trip to the AK range and I'll be on Denali. I've settled on synthetic puffy pants for up there. The pants take more of a beating than the puffy coat and synthetic seems to do better. Just a thought. I've been happy with the BD Stance belay pants.

Second the stance belay pants. Will be on Denali for the first time this year and will take these. I’ve had them for a while and love them. They have crampon instep patches, feel pretty burly in general plus they have full length side zippers.

I used those Rab Argon pants this year (my partner did too) and they were great.  However, note that they do not have side zips, so you need to take your boots off in order to put them on; depending on how you plan on using them, this could be no big deal or a major problem.

If you need to don/doff them while climbing, the side zips are key.  If they are a lightweight and packable part of your bivy system, down without side zips is the most compact.

I used Mont Bell Tec Down pants. Full zips are really key for being able to put them on and take them off over boots. I was worried these wouldn't be warm enough, but they were. I hadn't heard of Mont Bell until a friend told me about the brand. Good products and a store nearby me in Boulder.

I used MHW compressor pants. Full side zips, high west areas reinforced, relatively inexpensive, synthetic. Would use again if I went back.

Can't say I am impressed with any, they seem too form fitting. IMHO down pants are an outer shell for when it is fricking cold. That is you want something that can be put on over everything else. Which means side zips and lots of room. My choice would be FeatheredFriends pants.

FWIW I did not take down pants on Denali but a pair of fleece pants. I wore them on the summit day. Managed to put them on under my shell suit mid route. The beauty of full length zip suits.

+1 what @nateC said. But I have been considering going to down. Few of the down pants offer full zip except FF and WM. One other option I came across was these: kuiu.com/products/super-dow…

+1 the BD Stance full zip pants. Took them on trip to ski Denali and they were fantastic and have really stood up well to several years of other alpine/ice climbing/skimo shenanigans, they still look fresh!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
