anyone has tried the Climbing Technology North Couloir ice tool?

Hello,

Looking to buy my first set of ice tools and leaning for something versatile that I can use for alpinism too. (I'm in Italy)

So I've been considering the Climbing Technology North Couloir, but I can find only one single review...anyone has experience with them?

Debating between those and Quarks or North Machine (if I can find them used or a good deal).

cheers

No experience with it but it looks like a clone of the singing rock bandit

Pretty good price on the Bandit:

If I were to buy one, I'd make sure to get a bunch of replacement picks at the same time.

Don’t worry about doing everything now. Just focus on getting decent at pure ice. I would just get a pair of x-dreams or nomics. Both can be used in an alpine setting.

looks similar but the North Couloir is around 100 grams less

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
