just want to make sure it’s legit before i trust my life to it, bought it used. can’t find anything about it online.

it has a CE 0082 rating, the usual kN stuff, and the omega logo… that’s it

I had some of those BITD, might've been called the JC or the 50? Regardless if that name is right, OP made a carabiner like that in the early 2000's IIRC.

They have a very large edge radius which is great.

They have quite a distance from the bottom bend to the gate opening which I find makes for a more difficult clip.

Omega Pacific JC - they were my first carabiners back in 2001! I still use them (those that are left…). If I remember the marketing material correctly they split the round stock to give a wider rope wearing surface for the same weight as a full round stock carabiner. I like ‘em.
