OK Ladies and Gents, time to part with this brilliant piece of gear.  Thought I'd post up here before starting an auction on eBay, and will entertain reasonable offers. I'm in DC area (actually Fredericksburg, VA), and in NOVA 3-4 days a week - can arrange to meet up @ Sportrock Alexandria or otherwise if you'd like to purchase in person.  Mechanism spins freely & locks quickly in each direction.  A few minor surface scratches - this has <5 pitches of use, and if you've used them you know they tend to bang on the rock on low-angle terrain.  Also comes with well-aged manual that's traveled in my pack for the last ~20 years!!  Happy to entertain offers on this thread or via DM.  More pics on request.  Mixer not included!!

p.s. I've got three kids already, so will not be accepting first-born children at this time... apologies for the inconvenience :P

Cheers,

Hamish

What’s the highest bid and more specific is the manual for sale separately? I got a sp but no manual and would love to know what I don’t know about it.

You mentioned that you have kids, but what about GRAND kids?  I've got two that I'd be willing to part with--but only if the manual is included!
