Headed to Hurricane UT for family reunion next week & looking for climbing suggestions within 1-2 hour drive range. Sport, trad climbs in the 5.9-10 range.  Reviewing areas in MP now & not seeing many moderate range climbs.  Looks like sun exposure will be a factor.  Be great to find area to bring my family members out for a cragging day.  Thanks!

There are a lot of crags with grades in those range, check out: Prophesy Wall, Kelly Rock, Black and Tan wall, Snow Canyon State Park, Lambs Knoll, Crawdad canyon, Green valley gap, shotgun alley, and I'm sure some that I'm missing.  If you want sun exposure on those ask for specifics spots and I'll respond.  The guide book does a good job explaining sun exposure as well. Best of luck.

One more thought if you're looking to take your whole family out I'd avoid Chuckwalla and Black Rocks great grade selction but always the most crowded crags.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
