What is the best option for someone traveling down to Hueco solo during Christmas-New Years.  Will be in a van, so primitive is OK, but would like to be around other climbers to try and partner up and/or just hang out.  Thanks!

there is no primitive camping there. hit up the rock ranch.

Rock Ranch website says it's closed for the 22-23 season.  Do they open in November or something?  Reservations needed or just show up...?

I stayed at the Rock Ranch this past February. It may be that there is no AAC rep available to run they place (the live on site) so they cannot have it open? just a speculation.

I stayed at Gleatherland last December and would recommend checking them out: https://www.gleatherland.com/
