Modified X-Dream Handles?

Has anybody modified their x-dream handles to better fit a size large heavily insulated glove?

I like that tool, and like the price, but the handles just don't fit well when I want a warm glove...

Search for Forecast Equipment in Quebec on Facebook. They've made a handle for the X Dream. Might be what you’re looking for!

Looks cool... I was thinking more a couple hours with a file than fancy custom gear, but cheers!

Ditch the bottom rubber insert. Use a belt sander (or equivalent) to shave down the handles. I shaved mine almost down to the metal. Made both pommels thinner too. Works great with thick gloves and much more comfortable than the OG handle imo. I can post a picture later if you want

That would be rad.

Cheers.

With and without tape

That looks pretty workable. Out with the sandpaper and to work!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
