Perhaps this has been discussed here before and if so I apologize for my forum topic redundancy. But I wonder if anyone knows the status of some of the current salient US climbing magazines--specifically "Climbing," "Rock & Ice," and "Alpinist." I have gone online to research the answer to my question but have thus far been unable to come up with definitive answers hence my asking on this forum.
Specifically I wonder if anyone knows whether these magazines are still in publication, and if so, are they still available in print format (I think Alpinist is still so available but am not sure definitively), or are they now only available in digital format. Speaking just for me I still like the tactile sensation of holding while reading a printed magazine (same applies to books, etc.). I spend enough time of my day looking at a computer, laptop, or iPhone screen, that reading something in print form is refreshing.
So I am hoping one or the other of the above magazines can still be found in print form. I thank all of you in advance for any helpful replies you submit.
Cheers,
Bob Loomis,

Just Google “Alpinist magazine subscription” and you will find the answer. (Yes, and it’s the only one worth anything!)
My personal opinion is that those magazines just ‘whipped over bad gear’ and have strayed from reporting on epic climbing and alpinism news. They are becoming increasingly irrelevant. Now, more woke centered articles litter their pages and less cool climbing stuff. I’m over them and think that Skram/Outside has lost touch with the spirit of the sport.
