Squamish Rain - Where to climb?

Hello All,

So I've been trying to go to Squamish during good weather the past 3 years and every time I made plans to... it would rain. This weekend we're just committing to staying a long weekend with some probable rain on Saturday. Realize things can dry out quickly and such,  but as a back up can anyone recommend areas/boulders that would be good to climb regardless of conditions? Any recommendations are appreciated, thank you!

Probably won't be too much rain even if it does, so likely anything overhanging like Gibb's Cave, etc. could be OK. Also stuff at Grand Wall in the forest unless it starts pouring. If you're looking to travel a bit from Squamish (1.5-2 hours-ish), there are some nice boulders up in Pemberton (Green River Bastion) and out East by Hope (Hunter Creek, The Stacks, Elbow Lake) if weather is looking better in either of those areas.

If it has just started raining lightly, the boulders in deep forest (Grand Wall forest , etc) can stay dry for a while since the dense tree canopy will catch the raindrops.

Once the rain stops, the Apron boulders are out in the open and are known to be a fast drying location. Especially if there is a bit of a breeze to help things dry.

if everything is wet, you can also just take the guidebook for a walk and check out all the cool stuff to climb the next day once it dries out.

Thank you both so much for the suggestions!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
