I have a lot of long train journeys coming up and am looking for a decent horseshoe type neck pillow, any recommendations?

In terms of weight and quality, I'm thinking about an inflatable Exped Neck Pillow.

I have an older Thermarest neck pillow...the inflatable one not the memory foam one.  Its great.

I don't like the ones that hug your neck kinda tightly.  Samsonite might make a version that is similar...

I felt that all neck pillows are useless until I used two, one in the normal configuration and the other at the front, wedged on top of the first one and cradling my chin and jaw. That’s the only way I found to have the weight of my head fully supported while asleep with no slumping. The front one is a small, airline-issued thing, completely useless on its own but just right for this use. Probably not a great solution if you’re claustrophobic but it’s the only thing that works for me.

Just received the Exped Neck Pillow. Completely useless on it own. Not enough volume. I'd need two and that's real money and heavy too.

What are your thoughts about neck massage pillows? Does anybody have one like this?

Get a foam C-collar. Full support all the way around. BITD before belay glasses, a friend used one while belaying at steep crags.

I had one. I can say that is sucks. Nothing special or helpful. Additionally it stopped charging in two months. I tried to contact shophq customer service, but didn't have any suitable answer. As I can see from other users' reviews, I've encountered bad sellers, unfortunately.

Been waiting for the "Belay Pillow" for years. Someone is missing out on a small fortune if designed well.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
