Stoner thoughts?

What are some of the brilliant, creative, or whack a doodle thoughts you have had when stoned? (Bonus if they are peripherally related to climbing).

I’ll start:

If the Doctor were to visit 21th Century Boulder, CO, he(she) would disguise the TARDIS as a Sprinter Van.

What are your thoughts?

If you had to pick one climb every climber had to do in order to be considered "a climber" what route would it be?

Silence.

No, not the climb. I'm ordering you to be quiet.

But seriously, there's only one climber.

I was told at CU Boulder in the Alpine club aka the drinking and sport climbing club that you had to solo the 2nd flatiron naked on the full moon for your graduation to really count. I've never actually "flashed it" on a night climb like that but maybe some day.

Actually tho I've soloed the 2nd 2.5 times now and I wouldn't want to promote people to climb it unless they really want the free solo adventure experience. The first 2 times I did it were grand, but the last time I found myself in a thin slabby section down low feeling very much like a real free solo, with a crowd starting to gather and utter there word of disbelief and astonishment to me until I was able to traverse sideways to a bail. Last time my climbing friends went up there they saw some dude in tennis shoes slip and almost die, so the 2nd flat solo is not to be taken lightly.

Agreed, did great on it first two times.  Last time I didn't check my head before and got to the bulge crux and got super duper heady.  Managed to get through it but I'm not sure I will ever do it again.

Having a ground anchor like you need for lead rope solo actually isn't so different to normal climbing-- it's just that the ground anchor is normally your belayer.

Climbing on stone when you’re stoned, takes your high even higher.

Being social pariah is virtuous in some situation and anti social in others.

Everyone on here has predetermined beliefs and if users didn’t it would be hard to troll them. Take for example the moonboard thread. There isn’t anything fundamentally wrong with mountain project storing gym routes it is not a big deal in anyway. But since everyone is grooming their neck beards, they are ready to hate on gym climbers so you invoke a response.

Instead we could have a conversation about actual rock climbing but users are so afraid to be wrong and called gym climbers they would rather hate of gym climbers all day then learn about rock climbing. For example the top rope thread I was the only person to actually write a response.

I don’t know shit about climbing but I never claimed to.

I smoke two joints at the base of climb

I smoke two at belay

I smoke two joints at top of route

and then I smoke two with a jay

I smoke two points as I place a peace

And smoke to find the route

I smoke two joints as I read the guide

and then I smoke two more

Da Da DAH!
