Hey all,

im headed to israel in july and wondering if anyone has any information on crags and finding partners out there.  Mountain project seems to have limited info. There is a guide book available but its too short notice to have delivered from israel and digital version is not available. Looking for multipitch trad and sport info/partners. Thanks.

Have not been but did a bit of research - like you, I was looking for any multi-pitch.  From the guidebook, there's a 2-3 pitcher by the Dead Sea (climbing below sea level) & then there's this:  https://israel-extreme.com/sites/keshet-multi-pitch/

Have not been able to find anything else.  Lebanon on the other hand has enough stuff for a weeklong trip.

July will be roasting hot everywhere. Where will you be based and for how long? What grades do you climb?  I can ask my Israeli partners for you

you can contact some of the climbing gyms and ask where there might be climbers. they would know about guide books if there are any

best climbing is prob at Gita in the north. there are areas scattered all over Israel. Ein Prat/wadi Firat is not far from J'lem. Todd Skinner climbed near Timna in the south. bouldering in the central north

I never did any multi-pitch, only single pitch but there might be some.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
