Anyone have a good recommendation for a wall rope in the 10 mm range? Thanks.

I really like the Beal Booster III (9.7mm).  It's really durable, has a low impact force for falling on sketchy gear, and most importantly it has Unicore, which I think is a super desirable feature for a rope you're going to be jumaring on.  I've beat the hell out mine doing lead rope soloing and solo big walling, and it's still in great shape.  And it's cheap!  Definitely the best bang for your buck rope I've ever bought.

It's stiff and doesn't have a luxurious hand feel.  But if you're a hand diva and need something like that, you have no business being on a big wall anyway.

Beal makes a thicker version called the Wall Master if you really want something thicker than 10mm.

I am happy with BD's 10.2.

Whatever the Beal 10mm Unicore is, maybe the Tiger?   All my ropes are Unicore now, gives a little more peace of mind.

Thanks for the tips. The Beal Booster sounds like just what we’re looking for. Appreciate it.

Beal tiger 10mm all the way. Unicore is the future.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
