Hello! Has anyone every tried prolotherapy injections in their hands/fingers for severe ligament sprains? What was your experience? If there were any benefits, how long did they last?

In the same field, has anyone every tried prolotherapy injections to treat plica syndrome in the knees?

Hey Vitor, I have had prolo in the middle joint of my middle finger. I don’t recall what my exact diagnosis was, but before the injections I had a lot of pain and enough swelling that the furthest I could bend my finger towards my palm still left my fingertip about half an inch away. I had one treatment, let it heal for a few weeks, and now 8 months or so later I have not had an issue with it and am climbing harder than before. So—prolo worked for me! If you find yourself in the Phoenix area, I’d be happy to put you in touch with the doc that fixed me up. Good luck healing no matter which route you go!
