Bicep tendonitis?

I think I overdid it. Had COVID a few weeks ago and didn't climb for nearly tao weeks so I was going hard this week. Last night I was hang boarding, when I could feel my right bicep (non dominant arm) getting "tighter"...for lack of a better word. I stopped the session early. Since then I have this very mild pain in my bicep when I fully extend my arm. Any one ever experience something similar? I am deathly afraid of tendonitis because I know it can take weeks to heal.

I’ve experienced something similar when I push it too hard in my experience its usually a bit of soreness that goes away after rest and stretching helps a bit.

Because its only been a day its not likely a serious injury but if it gets worse or stays the same even with rest then it could be something to worry about

Thanks Jake. I'm hoping that's all it is.

RICE that bad boy. Weeks of time off is nothing.... If after a few weeks off it does not resolve and is re-triggered by introduction to activity you need to consult a PT or specialist. Good luck

Yeah, I gotta just be patient. It feels impossible for me to take time off. The good news is that is hasn't gotten worse. Hopefully it resolves itself in a few days. Thanks!

Heavy slow eccentric curls fixed mine 100%, before and after climbing. No more than 10 reps or add weight.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
