When you order gear or you sell gear and ship it out, do you expect it to be packaged carefully, individual wrap carabiners and GriGri's, quickdraws and cams, etc?

Or are you fine with it just thrown in a box all together and shipped off?

All depends on what I have lying around ...

I usually recive all the carabiners clipped together, and the rest of it just kinda packed in with paper or bubble wrap to keep is from micro fracturing

I just ordered a big order from Backcountry.com and they just threw it all (Carabiners, GriGri, Quick Draws, PAS, Harness) into a box no packaging at all.

You think there could be micro-fractures in the carabiners? Damage to the Quick Draws?

How delicate do you think climbing gear is? It rattles around in my pack and I don't worry about it,

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
