Made an attempt to do this one yesterday.  Got lost between pitch 4 and 5.  Anyone have photos of all the starts of each pitch showing the bolts/rap rings? Mtn proj has some info but obviously still got lost.  I think I needdd to traverse right about 20ft at the beginning of the 4th pitch. But would be good to know if someone actually has a map of this route or any other ones at El Cajon.  Thanks!

By map, I assume you mean topo. Have you checked your local guidebook for a topo?

Part of the adventure fun is figuring out route paths by studying topos and recognizing features.

I hope we never live in a world where a photo of the start is available for every pitch/climb.

That anchor is as described: “out of sight”.  Start looking for it off to the right once you’re ~15’ or so over the last bolt

Just climbed this on sunday. I remember being a bit confused on this same part of the pitch, so I stopped assessed my surroundings and eventually saw the anchors to the right. Such a great climb. Really stoked there is something like this in san diego.

Newish route and there's no updated guidebook for this area; thankfully route developer posted a great description.

And (don't) be on the lookout for the new 3d crag app with complete model of the cliff or boulder, we already live in that world

Yeah you should have kind of worked right   Did this route a few weeks ago   Its a little bit contrived   But the description is pretty straight forward once you are on the thing   The repelling was not as easy  had to down climb bushwack to the base of the third pitch   Caught a bunch of ticks   The last two pitches are worth the hike
