Pm-ing you! I'm curious but not committed |

Parts and labor might be difficult with this rig I imagine. My vehicle is way less rare than this and over 50% of shops won't touch it. Also, resurfacing the rotors makes me cringe. But this thing is suuuper cool. |

I had a 94 Hiace Supercustom for a short spell. You do certainly need to find out which JDM shops will work on it. Also registration in CA is not a fun road. The ambulance Hiace looks amazing! |
|
Part sourcing can be challenging but I have always found the part I need. There are plenty of resources available and more and more Hiaces on the road these days. It’s amazing how many parts can be found locally and are plug and play from the Toyota truck or previa. I got a book full of part numbers for any Hiace people out there, holla. Remember kids, scared vanlife don’t make vanlife. |

holy crap, this is a low-mileage gem!! Diesel 5spd 4Low toyota high-roof van! Sweet baby jesus, swoop this up and thrive. Timing belt, Injector Pump, tires, brakes, clutch are all done recent. This is an incredible buy. Insanely low mileage. |

I went on a week long safari in Africa in one of these. Awesome vehicle. I wish Toyota still made them. The other thing besides parts/service is safety. Like an older VW van there’s not much in front of you if you run into something. But worth it. |

As far as parts sourcing, a lot of Toyotas use the same hubs, rotors, VSVs, etc. |
|
FWIW these JDM vehicles have become way more common in the States in the last couple years, which is great news for parts and service availability, and registration in California. I've been surprised to see a few Delicas around with CA plates lately. They've been in Canada for a long time now, and there are many JDM specific mechanics and parts suppliers there. |

I drove a US-market 80s Toyota Van delivery vehicle with panel sides many years ago - that thing was awesome. I imagine these share a lot of parts with the Hiace. Good luck with the sale, I love it, but don't need another vehicle. Too many toys, heh. |
