La Sportiva still on ExpertVoice?
|
Can anyone with AAC (or IMBA) membership verify that the La Sportiva discount is still available? Thanks! |
|
AAC- gone AF- gone |
|
Nothing good was ever in stock anyways. You should still get AAC for the rescue benefit |
|
Just checked my expertvoice, it’s there. |
|
Do you have another affiliation besides AAC? I just checked and its gone for me. |
|
I have it with the NOLS Alumni affiliation on ExpertVoice. |

Malcolm Hansell wrote: NOLS Alum and I have it as well. However, it is no longer directly on ExpertVoice, instead you get a 30% off code that you use on the La Sportiva website. So not as good as it used to be. |

If you are able to get access to it on outdoor pro link I have found it to be better access on there |
|
I saw it a day or so ago as a Vet. I haven't been able to add AAC, yet. |

Hey All. I just logged into my expertvoice account (AAC affiliation) to pick up a #6 camalot, when I noticed that they no longer carry cams (though I can still see BD climbing apperrel). I didn't realize you get different access depending upon which groups your affiliated with, and I wonder if they pulled the camalot discount for AAC members. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience or knows a definitive answer. The AAC discount seems to be losing a lot of its luster now. We used to get totem discounts too for a hot second. |

I still get La Sportiva through Fire/Rescue affiliate on Expertvoice |

I have it through my challenge course/ summer camp affiliation. |

Sal F wrote: I had terrible experience with bd on expertvoice anyways. I’d place an order and they they would only fulfill like 2 out of 10 items with no explanation. Happened like 3 times, they seemed allergic to actually shipping climbing gear. Paying a service fee and $15 shipping to only get a few things from your order was pretty frustrating. |

Mammut and BD have been decent on Expertvoice if you can find what you need in stock. Unfortunately BD soft goods were 50% off for a long time and it appears that was recently reduced to 30% discount. Hoping it returns to normal after the holidays but kinda doubt it. |

Dylan McIntosh wrote: I had a similar experience with BD— I ordered a pair of fancy trekking poles and threw in an atc and some carabiners to get above the $150 free shipping threshold. They cancelled the poles and charged me $15 shipping on the remaining ~$40 order. expertvoice finally refunded me the shipping cost a month after I filed a complaint, but it really left a bad taste in my mouth. |

Just circling back! Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences. I did email ExpertVoice and confirmed with them that BD reduced the goods they are making available through the AAC discount. |

Also noticed BD removed almost all of their gear for AAC memberships. Too bad. I bought my entire rack this ways and saved A LOT. FWIW the shipping and processing fees only made the cost savings worth it if you ordered a whole rack anyways…hope it comes back at some point…made buying matching gear feasible. |
