What/who is taking this footage?  Drone?  Partner?

I think it’s a 360° camera mounted on a pole behind him/mounted to his helmet or body

Regardless this shit is cray.

That pole that holds the go pro  must have caught a lot of snow  and contributed to almost  pulling him off.  I  had that  happen  multiple times  leading  Fafnir. Got a great  shot of my  partner  getting hosed  leading the black dike the same day.

Karma for soloing with a GoPro on.

there have been several injuries/deaths within the past few years of ice climbers getting avi'd off routes in CO. as a community, i think ice climbers rarely consider avi danger (place likes canada seem to have a different mindset) but need to be aware of the terrain they are in (or more importantly, under). not saying leland wasn't aware of the risks in this case, more just a general comment.

Eric Marshal on the Black dike after we had the same thing happen while I was leading Fafnir

No Go pros.

One thing to note is that the initial wave is in the first few seconds after that it is a lot of spindrift. Which is fortunate. Otherwise the impact of the continuous barrage of chunks could have been enough for him to have been knocked off.

Anyone know what day this happened?

This was posted a few weeks back under MP Leading News/Climbing shortly after it happened.  Included commentary from climber and how staying calm and composed saved his hide.    Can't find link in MP.  Lucky to have survived.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
