Hi,

I am trying to decide which size of Scarpa Booster shoes to order.

I have Scarpa Drago model and they became too crammped for me. They are EU-41 (US-8).

I am wondering what should be my Booster new size ?

If I'm up by 1.5 EU in sneakers size does it mean I am 1.5 up in Scarpa ?

I would have like to try them but I don't have anywhere to get a pair. So I have to buy these online.

thanks

Tomer.

I don’t think anyone is really going to be able to help you, other than general sizing info for Scarpa. Your feet are unique and you are going to need to find out what shoe and what size works for you. That being said Scarpa seems to fit me well at 1-1.5 down from street shoe size..

Def try on.

Nonetheless I got mine a 1/2 size down from street. I wear 11.5 street and 11 in the booster. I actually prefer the boostics and the boostic fits a little tighter in the same size as a booster. Order a few from Backcountry then hit up that return policy. Or if you have ‘‘em local even better.

Great shoe though.

The booster has a what feels like a more narrow heel than the drago. I downsize 2 sizes on all of my scarpa shoes. I think I should have gone up a 1/2 size to give the heel more space to seed in the shoe. the heel bags a little in the bottom when toeing or edging because my foot doesn't naturally fit in it. When I heel hook the space is gone though.

If the drago felt too small I would go up a half size.

I can't make a comparison to Drago, however Booster is my go-to sending shoe. I think I have pretty average-shaped feet, and I size down a full size from my street shoe; 10.5-->42.5. To me, sizing of Boosters seems very similar to that of old yellow LS Muira VCS, Scarpa Vapor VCS, and LS Skwamas, although the latter have a wider toe box. In terms of length at least, Scarpa seems to be awfully consistent between models.

It's probably related to the rock I climb on most, but I do a lot of smedging. For me, Boosters outperform everything else I've tried at this task, and work well for pretty much everything else sporty.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
