Somebody please point me to where I can find replacement points for blade runners. One of mine is absolutely toast. I can’t seem to find any aftermarket points and Camp has been sold out for ages.

Could you post a picture of yours?  I bought a set of Petzl crampons off MP and for some reason they came with an unused additional set of front points that clearly are not made for my Petzls.  I did some research for what they are used for and I think they are for Cassin/Camp iirc....

You’d be my hero if you’re right. I won’t be home until later tomorrow but I could definitely post a photo then

This is what they look like on the website though, if it’s any help

If what you have are for Cassin C14s, I'll buy them. Can YOU post a picture?

I’m still able to climb and I’ll make it through the rest of the season so if you think you’ll need them hang onto them.
but if not I’ll happily buy it off you, I’m in Hooksett

I don't know the compatibility but all the FM and FR series from Krukonogi look very similar to the C14 frontpoint.

"Similar" may not be good enough.

Turns out Cassin still has C14 points for $7.50 apiece. Can't beat that.

I just bought an OEM set from a outfitter in Italy. It seems they are out of stock in the US. And the aftermarket guys are OOS as well. MountainGear360 shows still in stock. Very quick shipping for Intl too.

I confirm the FM series from Krukonogi is compatible with Cassin C14.

Where did you find the frontpoint at 7.50$. It's so cheap. I'll take it. Link please.

Mike,

A little late but here is a picture of what I have.

I purchased a set of the polish replacement front points - they are considerably longer than even factory new ones from Cassin, maybe 5mm to 6mm longer.

Does anyone know what effect a much longer point will have while actually climbing?

I'm curious to give them a run this coming Wednesday on some mellow ice - overall took about 3 weeks shipping from Poland to arrive to Colorado.

They will mean it's more important to flex your foot upwards when kicking , since the point is lower and further forward. I wonder how much difference such a small length change will make

FYI, I saw that Outdoor Gear Exchange in Burlington, VT, has BR front points: https://www.gearx.com/camp-blade-runner-front-points-1

(But only 2 in stock, deduced by changing the quantity in the cart).
