Yosemite Camping - can you transfer reservation?

Am I allowed to give my camping reservations to a good friend?  I won't be able to attend the party.  The website does not allow one to change the primary contact.  Will the ranger allow them to check-in?

If you have a camping reservation for 6 people, do all 6 people need an entrance permit? 

"Call 877/444-6777 to change or cancel your reservation."

If they are all in the same car, one permit will do. Two cars per campsite maximum.

You can't change the name on the camping permit for YOS.  Found the answer - you can transfer the camping reservation as long as the person checking in has a copy of the primary contact's ID along with the reservation.
