Has anyone tried this brand of snowshoes?

I can’t find any good reviews but it looks like an interesting design. i’m curious how much flotation they actually offer.

They'd be relatively useless on fluffy pow imo--too small a footprint.

You're probably right for pow
Spring days in the cascades, smaller snowshoe would be good idea. Also would be better for bushwhacking and stepping over fallen trees.

Over the years a few companies have made compact approach type snowshoes: Grivel. Vertz, MSR, Snowfangs and one very early one, Ramer.

From my experience the Grivels,Snowfangs, and Ramers worked pretty well and definitely look a lot more durable.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
