Hi there I just moved to Medford and saw there is a really awesome sandstone cliff in the redwood national forest that overlooks the pacific.  What are the temps and does it seem in the winter? Thx!

https://www.mountainproject.com/area/106024808/promontory - hit up the de facto steward, Evan Wisherhopp, for more info. he's got all the info on all the crags (even those lost to the sands of time) along the redwood coast.

the secret of the PNW coast is that you can occasionally get sunny days in the mid-50s when the weather sucks everywhere else. look at forecasts for crescent city and eureka, and split the difference. CC will often be fogged over and dreary but it's sunny just 30 min south at Prom.

it doesn't seep much, but the sand exfoliates a lot and can lead to very sandy holds.

Thx for the beta.  Hoping to find partners for the redwoods and lookout point! Oh and would you suggest messaging Evan on mtn project?
