Moderate Ski tours in the La Sals

Hey folks, I am looking for some beta on some relatively low angle ski tours in the La Sals out of Moab. Looking to go skiing next week (Jan 24-26). Any tour involving less than 10 miles and around 2-3k vert. I see a lot of information on Tuk online, but I am interested in taking a beginner out, possibly accompanied by dog. Any advice or information on some other options would be greatly appreciated! 

Go to the Moab Gear Trader in town. There they have printed maps of all the good skiing in the range and you can get good first hand beta from locals. Highly recommended!
