climbing movies

I’ve watched The Dawn Wall, Meru, Free Solo and The Alpinist many times. I’ve also watched a few docs on Everest and K2. Im looking for other climbing movies to watch in my wait time before work starts. No movies with actors, real movies, documentaries and such. thanks all |

Have you tried the search feature here? I suspect this question has been asked before. |

Valley Uprising is a favorite of mine. It's a documentary on the history of climbing in Yosemite. |

The reel rock films |

watching Valley Uprising right now, will get Gripped and some Reel Rocks next, thanks all |

Reel rock films! So much good stuff in there. |

almost alpine makes me smile in a very pure way. love the bits towards the end, especially; super wholesome and genuinely funny. also really appreciate the inventive project that initially inspired the film--the carolinas & WV aren't "major" climbing spots nearly to the level of name recognition/draw like other places in the states*, so seeing that type of passion & pride [and creativity, really] for the region made me appreciate being from this neck of the woods a lot more *asheville residents, go home. y'all are closer to TN than the capitol by a difference of 3.5hrs |

Personally “Africa Fusion” is one of my favorites. There are a lot of good options out there. |
|
Do they still have the deal where you can buy the entire Reel Rock collection? That would be the play. If you haven't seen King Lines, it's a personal favorite. |
|
You can watch Reel Rock on the Redbull website. They are delivered like episodes more than short films but it doesn't really change anything. |

The Fred Becky movie was cool. |
|
I enjoyed valley uprising and Safety Third! Can’t forget wide boyz too! |

I remember seeing a documentary on the first ascent of the Chief at Squamish, it was great and it was cool to see the history of a climb I had done. |

The Red Bull movie Cerro Torre about David Lama's free ascent is a pretty good one. |
