For sale is my 2011 Ford Transit Connect Campervan. Has 161,xxx miles on it. I've owned the van since 2014 and it has always treated me well. Runs great and still gets 25+mpg. Recently decided to move up to a bigger van, so unfortunately this one has to go.

- Custom built bed/storage cabinet on drivers side easily converts from a single to double bed for sleeping 2

- Huge 68" x 22 1/2" x 13" box below bed for storage

- Custom cabinet behind slider on passenger side for more storage. Also has a fold out table for cooking/working

- Auxilirary 1000 amp deep cycle battery stored in front of bed storage box that is charged off the alternator

- 1000w inverter for running small appliances/charging batteries

- Ventline 12V roof mounted fan with screen

- Floor construction: 1/2 foam board insulation, 1/4" underlayment, vinyl sheet flooring

- Rest of van insulated with Reflectix and fiberglass

- CURT 2" Class 3 hitch (includes trailer wiring harness that never got installed)

- 50" bolt-on ladder roof rack (easily fits 2 standard kayaks on roof)

- Includes 2 mattresses made from memory foam mattress toppers

- New shocks and struts (less than 5k miles since these were put on)

- Heavy blackout curtains that separate cab from cargo area

- Velcro-on Reflectix window covers for rear windows

- Interior is in great shape. No rips/tears in seats.

- With the work van looking exterior, the blackout curtains, and the rear window coverings, this van is great for stealth camping

Does have a few issues worth noting. Windshield is cracked, radio recently stopped working, the A/C was not blowing very cold end of last summer, and there is some minor rust on the rocker panels that I just coated with some rust neutralizer/touch up paint

  • Am I reading correctly that you have 1000 Amp hours of battery? That's an insane amount of electricity and must take forever to charge off the alternator alone if you ever deep cycle it.

I wish I had that kind of power available! This battery is 1000 cold cranking amps/180 reserve capacity. Its a standard deep cycle battery like those used in a boat so im not sure how many amp hours it is. The battery is a Duralast 27DP-DL if that is any help.

Got ya, that's not a true deep cycle battery, but no reason it wouldn't work to charge electronics and run lights and a fan for a while. Pretty cool build. I like the couch to bed conversion. Took me a while to figure out a good way to throw one in my conversion.

Bump for a sick build. Been living in my connect 4 with my gf for about half a year and we love it. Drives like a car, but with added clearance. Pretty durable too, I beat the shit outta mine. If I didn’t already have one I’d be on this.

Rats. It’s a nice build. How much did the conversion run you and do you have any plans for the layout?
