Smuggs Ice Bash

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone has been to Smugg's Ice Bash in VT? I'm new to ice climbing and am tryna figure out if it is worth for a newbie to attend. Any insight would be helpful!

if you’re in the New England / New York area you have three choices. Smuggs in VT, ADK in NY and Mt Washington Valley Ice Fest in NH. All in late January and early February.

They’re all great social events and all have clinics (which have a cost associated with attending) and gear demos. Pick which one makes most sense for your situation.
