Looking Glass/Cedar Rock Camping reccomendations

Me and 3 buddies are looking to take a 3 night weekend trip to hit Looking Glass and Cedar Rock on separate days. Where should we camp? According to the guide book there is camping at the Nose parking lot at least but it is all first come first serve and we likely won't get there until late Friday night. We are also considering glamping at the Davidson River Campground. Any suggestions?

Alex get creative

There are many more free options available if you look around a bit on USFs land, obviously packing up your crap the next morning decreases theft probability!

Have fun

It’s pisgah, if it’s a couple hundred feet off of the road or off the trail you’re pretty much solid

+1 for the glamping. A lot of the road side camping has been shutdown due to squatters

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
