Moonboard Angle for Benchmarks

I recently tried out a 2017 Moonboard set at 25 degrees, and I was curious how the board angle changed the benchmarks. I selected a 25 degree angle in the "Moonboard Layout" page, but noticed that not all of the problems shown to me have "25°" in the title. Are the the problems without "25°" in the title only for 40 degree boards, or can they be done on both? If they can be done on both, does the grade on the app change depending on the angle?

The 40 degree and 25 degree angles each have their own, independent problem sets.

Some, but not all, of the 40 degree benchmarks have been posted for the 25 degree wall by various people. If there's a 40 degree benchmark that you like and it's not in the 25 degree layout, post it!

In my mediocre experience, the same problem at 25 is about 2 V grades easier than at 40. It's not universal, though. I find that high-foot moves can be harder at 25 because it's harder to get your hips out from the wall. You're also more likely to whack elbows and knees on jumpy moves. But the little holds feel SOOOO much bigger!

Does that answer your question?

Got it, thanks a lot.

The Moonboard app wasn't super intuitive for me.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
