Thanks, all! Guess I'll have to suck it up and call them...or just wait and see? They didn't claim backorder, even, just...shipment date unknown. WTF is that supposed to mean for the order itself?
I've had back orders before, everyone has. Nothing wrong with that, it's simply not in stock where you ordered, but is in stock somewhere.
The best customer service ever, on a backorder? When I bought a rowing machine, right as covid craziness hit and every bit of anything exercise was gone. Instantly. I was fast enough to get on a waitlist. Emails arrived regularly with updates. They put them together in Vermont, but parts came from China. As soon as they could, they did what they could. Eventually, I was on the production list, and, my erg shipped exactly as I was told.
The other super fun one was when I bought the Edelrid TC rope. It was brand new, super popular, and mine was back ordered all the way through to Germany! Purchased through my little local gear shop.
But this?
Not so great.
If I can, I might try to contact CAMP, too. See if these even exist.
Like I said, not a biggy. The harness has plenty of life in it still.
But my Katanas... I'm gonna have to shoe shop again, methinks.
