Modern ice axe head “bar” attachments for backpack?

I am seeking an aftermarket “bar” for the kind of ice axe carry system found on Osprey Mutant and Arcteryx Alpha packs (to name a couple).  I figure I can contact Osprey spare parts but thought I’d ask here first in case there is an easier path to procurement.  Any advice for finding these for sale online?

I’m not handy in the metal shop and therefore not interested in fabricating anything.

I got a modern ULA pack for Cascade mountain adventures and I like everything about it except the axe mount.  I intend to alter its mount system slightly with one of these so that it sucks less.

A small carabiner will surfice, slightly fidlly but would work. Any appropriately sized bar or bit of tube that will fit through your axe head and clove hitch a bit of cord to it.

I had the same frustration, so I went to the hardware store and bought some similar-looking pieces of metal. They were categorized with the bolts, screws and washers. Or you can buy some of these:

Osprey replacements parts are great. contact them and they either send you the pieces for free or for a couple dollars and you get the exact piece you are looking for.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
