Canal zone open

Does anyone know how to get to canal zone? And does anyone have info for when that parking is gonna open?

Don't know the status of that parking lot (it's way past the original estimate at this point), but you can park at the Chimney Gulch trailhead off of 93, then start up that way and branch off to get to Canal Zone.

You can also usually access Canal Zone from downtown Golden along the trail from the RV park. That is currently closed for construction, but is supposed to reopen by July 23.

you can access the canal zone via the trail from hwy 93 parking area and walk up to the canal trail or the clear creek trail on the north side of Clear Creek.  The properties on the south side of the creek is private and there is no climbing access through the property.  I am a local climber and live in the condos, please do not come on the property.  We have plenty of signs stating that and it seems like the a lot of the climbers and the damn tubers don't care about private property.  This is how access to climbing areas become closed!   The canal zone will have better parking and better access here real soon.  Please respect private property in any area.
