Elbow injury , ulnar collateral ligament

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else has suffered this injury. I have a partial tear, my rehab is rest :( . I am going on 6 weeks, mild tenderness but nervous to load the arm

Anyone else with some experience when they could go back to climbing? All the literature out there is related to baseball pitchers and throwing movements which seem a lot worse than climbing. I'm hoping to avoid tommy-john surgery

All insight appreciated

there are a lot of forum posts on UCL injuries, including some of mine. I personally was back climbing at 6 weeks doing easy stuff, but I think all pain went away after 3 months. For quite some time, my elbow would catch when doing pull ups or pushups, but I think that was scar tissue that eventually eased off.

I had this injury... waited 3 months before I saw a doc about it. Did 6 weeks of PT. Can't remember exactly how long before the pain went away but wasn't too long after the PT ended.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
